to hazel, i have this condition after i had a bells palsy attack, my eye wont close all the way, when i eat it blinks open and waters, on the whole i have severely dry eyes on account of it not closing, i am learning to live with this but it has not been real easy, lots of prayers and posit. thinking on my part but eventually you do get used to this, i have been to every opthamol. in st., louis, mo for help and there doesnt seem to be too much they can do, good luck hope you learn to cope. barb
