yes i have had the exact symtoms,and was told that couldnt be also. but after a mri and surgery i am still no better the pain is still there but worst. i have now been taking vicodan and oxycontin for over two years. my surgery was the type where they just removed the herniated disk and no fusion. i think i would of been better off with the fusion others i have talked to recovered completely with fusion. don't know if this helped you but at least you know you can have you symptoms like you say.
