I was diagnosed with EBV in August 2000. I still dont understand alot of what this virus can do, and dont think there really is a known path. I was diagnosed because I have enlarged inquinal lymph nodes and was tested for just about everything and the only thing positive was EBV. Even with this I had a biopsy done, that was negative for cancer. I have different symptoms than what I have been reading in the messages already posted. I have swelling/pain in ankles, stiff necks, fevers, major fatigue, headaches. Does anyone else have the swelling of the ankles or stiffness???? My doctor pretty much told me to live with it, nothing will help. I would love to have someone to talk to that knows what it is like.
