I only found out a few weeks ago I have duplex kidneys, and I am nearly 46. I dont know how this hasnt shown up before. I have a scan lined up for 30th march 2001, so I will find out more. I know for definate that I have two tubes coming from one of my kidneys into my bladder but dont know if this means I have 2 kidneys, or 2 tubes from the one kidney on my left hand side. I have had lower back pain on and off for years but apparently this has been the kidneys not my back. I feel tired all of the time but that could be age not my kidney problems. Do any of you get overtired quickly and what other effects if any does duplex kidneys have on you. Is there stuff we are not supposed to eat or drink. Any advice from you would be helpful. thanks. lynn
