last year I needed a copy of my dental xrays to bring to a new office I chose from my insurance. The old office said their was a $25.00 fee for a copy of xrays and I paid it. A friend of mine who works for a dental office said that anyone is entitled to their own xrays and that no fee should be charged. The office said they had to keep the originals on file for "police i.d. purposes" and they could only make me a copy for $25.00. My friend says this is B.S.! She suggested I ask the American Dental Assoc. to back it up, but I've had no luck in finding them on the web! Any ideas? Thank you in advance.
