The only one that could really tell you that is your doctor after the necessary testing and exams. No, it doesn't necessaarily mean colon cancer because I used to think the same way, but very few people for some reason actually develop colon cancer from constipation, but still I'd advise you to go to your doctor to have your symptoms diagnosed. I've been extremely constipated for years and have had numerous tests done and still no colon cancer just a problem with my liver which I remedy by taking milk thistle pills, digestive enzymes and small meals a day and that seems to work.
