Your response to surgery will be individual depending on many factors (age, phys. condition, etc.) however, I can tell you that the Meniscus surgery is a relatively simple procedure and most people have excellent recovery. My husband had this surgery a couple years ago and you can't even tell. He has full range of motion and good endurance. He quit doing things that are hard on the knees (like jogging, etc) and opted for cycling, swimming and other joint friendly things. Good luck!
