What do you mean radiating pain? I have pain in the middle of my chest. It feels like the food gets stuck there and I can't breath until the pain lets up. Not chewing your food well enough and taking to big of bites can cause this. If the pain radiates to the back you better ck with dr. again maybe its gallstones
