I've had Crohn's disease for 46 years and had a small part of the bowel bypassed which helped tremendously. I have always resisted steroid medication and use Lomotil to control diarrhoea. I avoid salads/rough foods, but otherwise eat what I like. I am embarrassingly thin, but realise that there is no real cure until more research is done re. the immune system. I did hear that the MAP bug found in milk could be the cause and that this bug could get into the water supply too. Does anyone know more about this please?
