acne problem!

Hello, I know EXACTLY how you feel! I first had acne when I was 12. I am 30 years old right now and my acne scars are healing.. I still have it but nowhere near the painful, embarrasing stuff I had before. I tried antibiotics, which I had been on for a good 15 years. I had to keep switching anti-biotics because I had started to form allergies to some of them and others I was told weren't safe over long periods of time. I did 2 weeks with accutane and just couldn't take it. I felt as if I couldn't breathe on the stuff... although I do know people that have used this and it had worked for them wonderfully! I did a couple things.. and it works for me now... better than all the above. I went to an herbologist.. I told him my problem and he said that it wasn't my skin that was the problem but maybe my liver.... so he perscribed a concoction of herbs to take (it was good for one dose only) and told me to quite eating all meats, which I have done(still eat fish though). I took my first dose on Saturday and returned to work Monday. A LOT of people said my skin looked SOOO much better and asked what had I done! Needless to say.. I was very amazed. I took only one more concoction from him but followed his advice of no meat and my skin has been looking really really good! I also found a product for my skin that works. I know you have probably tried everything just as I have.. but try that.. and the cleanser that i use now is From DHC. They make olive oil based skin care products.. they are a bit expensive but I like it a lot! whether or not you buy from DHC.. definitally try an herbologist and see if they might not be able to do something for you. Good luck! Jennifer
