After using various different over the counter lubricating drops, trying to use only preservative free and later using products from the same pharmaceutical companies, I finally learned that I was allergic to something in all of the different drops. This caused my eyes to become even drier. I had also tried the puctum plugs and had to have them taken out. I am using Similasan drops from the health food store. They do not irritate, however, I do not find my eyes getting better, although some times they are better than other times. My surgery was last September. I wonder if anyone else has had an allergic reaction to all drops - I have tried so many different kinds.
