Hi help in Iowa I hope by now your husband has had surgery or somthing to help him ..I have that also I had my bone replaced at C5 a cadavar bone is used and metal is glued together ..Dont opt for the bone to be taking out of your hip..It will take longer for your hip to heal up than your neck..I also have had the C7 done also it limits my movement in my neck looking up and down I still have pain (LOTS) and I havent returned to work yet. Dr. told me not to do any thing.But to change jobs but what is there out there to do with out using your neck ??? Hey good luck,I hope everything goes well for your husband..PAM
