Hi, my name is Caroline. I'm forty years old, married, one four year old son. I work as a nanny taking care of my five month-old niece, along with my son. I enjoy them both a great deal, although I wish I had more energy. I can recall symptoms as far back as 23 years old. I've had three neg MRI's since then, however, I have had a clinical dx of MS by my PCP, extensive blood-work was done, (extensive, I hope!) and a vestibular work-up was done to rule out other probable causes to my symptoms which escalated these past two years. I show 90% intermittent physical symptoms for MS. I am waiting on a final (I hope final!) dx in June when I go to the MS Center at Cornell, here in NYC. I feel a litlle angry and confused that I must wait around and "suffer" from these symptoms until then. It's been a very long haul. As far as my friends and family, it would seem there is no validation of what I'm going through until I get a final dx, I guess until then, it's all in my mind?! How are you feeling? Three kids and all?
