My wife had been suffering from a severe case of Tinnitus for the past 4 yrs, but after going to a clinic in Oregon she is much better on her own. We purchased the devised recommended, but out fear she did not wear it. I guess talking to a profession who has seen 1000's of patients set her on the right track to mentally deal with the problem. I still believe in the device. They said they have had between 80 and 90 percent success rate. William Shatner and Leonard Nemoy both wear the device, but stop as soon as the sound gets better. I guess you are suppose to wear it for 18 to 22 mos to re-train your brain to ignore the sound.
