I just got out of the hospital yesterday , I went to the ER with lower left pains . Found out I had a condition called Diverticulitis. WOW what a big word.. lol I was in the Hospital for 5 days With Antibiotics threw I.V. Im feeling alot better now . I have to go for a Flexible Sigmoidoscopy and a barium Enema. Im alittle scared even hearing those words , and was wondering if someone can explain the tests and if you had these tests , can you please tell me what im in for .The Doctors are saying im really young for having this , Which scares me alittle . I dont know how i got this and whats ahead. Im watching what i eat , chewing eveything well and most importantly , Eating NO NUTs and No SEEDS. Sooo im bascily writing for anyones input on whats ahead , and what to look forward to . Any thing you have to say will help a great deal ! Thanks for your time . Dawne, Phila PA
