My friend Kristi has 4-year old with same thing on her tongue--just diagnosed last week and she is full of questions. This daughter and her baby sister both have had small spots on tongue since birth. Mom took 4-yr old in just to check on it. Doctor was not very forthcoming with information and our search on web has not given much info on this specific strain of hpv. We wanted to ask you questions about your daughter's experience: has she had the spot on tongue since birth? When did you first laser it and how often since then? did it require general anesthesia? did dr. give other alternatives for removal, i.e. surgical or cautery removal? We appreciate any info you can share! Thanks!
