After I had my 2nd child 9yrs ago. I had severe swelling. I was uable to tell what was what down there.To this day for the 1st 3days or so of my period I am in severe pain, and have major swelling inside so badly that can only use slender slim tampons,I also have to use light pads as well to control the flow.I found out about 4yrs ago that I had vaginal varicose veins. I have beenn told by a few friends that I should consider a partial historectomy. My doctor said no way, it is not worth it. I would need hormones and I would feel worse and that is not a good enough reason for that surgery. I don't know about that my Mom had a full hysterectomy after I was born 35 yrs ago and to this day has never taken hormones is and always been a calm and emotionally balanced women. If anyone has any advice or info please help. Thanks, Kelly
