My husband had the shortness of breath and his Dr. removed 2 liters of dark colored fluid. My husband's brother died of mesothelioma 2 years ago and both brothers had worked for a short time for Johns Mansville. Lab tests were done after the fluid was removed and the Dr. called and said that there was no cancer. Can mesothelioma be diagnosed this way? Or does there have to be a biopsy after the thoracoscope is used? Thanks. Mary Ramirez
