Hi Joy, my name is Jodi and I too have diverticulitis. I also have epilepsy, and have no taste and smell. I am deaf in one ear and mostly blind in one eye. I got the last lot from a car accident when I ws nine years old. I realise that you are stressed at the moment, and I don't know anything about diabetes, but if it helps you any, try to think of the positives instead of the negatives. I have 2 kids both of which have just had really bad cases of gastroenteritis. My 4 month old was in hospital because of it. Life never goes as you want it too, but just remember there is always someone worse off than yourself. regards jodi
