I'm going for an MRI soon and am debating, depending on the results, whether to undergo surgery or begin a new routine of exercises, i.e., swimming and yoga. I have had success in reducing the pain in the past with exercise but I have had another bout with pain from a herniated disc. I am in a lot of pain and I am not sure of being able to get into an exercise program. I think I have damaged my nerve over the years and it is time for a doctor to take over. Anyone who could talk me into either or?
