Have any of your doctors considered antidepressants for your symptoms? Before I knew I had clinical depression, I was absent-minded as a 150-year old and had periodic hot flashes as well. As for your periods not being regular any more (if they were before), they may have just decided to become irregular for no reason (believe me, I have a friend this has happened to -- yes, it's weird). Another friend of mine had elevated levels of prolactin (I'm not sure if that's the right name). Anyway, it's a hormone that elevates when you're pregnant and gives you these same symptoms. Not all doctors look for this. Don't think that they'll find it by accident, because the lab techs only look for what the dr. specifically addresses. Good luck. I HATE not knowing what's what when I have weird symptoms!
