I have had hives for two and a half years. I take 5 mgs. of Zyrtec every other night, of which cannot completely cure my hives problems. I have been taking allergy shots for a year, and the allergy test shows that I am allergic to grass, pollen, dust, and mites. I have tried to relieve my symptoms by changing my bedroom floor to hardwood floor instead of carpet, and covering my comforter with an allergen proof cover, and my pillows too. my symptoms include: -cannot sleep during nighttime -tight throat -feeling like there's a rock in my stomache (sometimes, not everyday) Right now i am seeing a Chinese doctor which has given me Chinese herbs to take. He also said i have weak kidneys. (a few months ago, i went to take an X-ray, which showed i had no problems whatsoever in my kidneys) I am in my early forties, and my period has stopped for three months and my OB said that I have reached menopause, as a result from a blood test.
