Hi! I was diagnosed with fifth's disease in Dec. 1999, continue to have severe joint pain & fatigue. Tell your daughter to see an infectious disease specialist, he may be able to help. I am still unable to work, I am an RN, out of work for a year. Currently taking Vioxx for pain, Prednisone for joint stiffness, nothing seems to really help. I will pray your daughter gets relief. Also you may try on the computer Miranda's Page or type in Human Parvo Virus B19, most of the information is for children who do well quickly. It seems that women have the worst symptoms.
