My nine year old daughter has been suffering from chronic ear infections for three months. After trying every antibiotic offered, her doctor has referred us to an Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor for possible placement of tubes. Although I understand the advantages of this procedure, I am very wary of the risks of the anesthesia that would be needed for her to have the surgery. I would very much like to learn of any effective alternatives to surgery. Thank you...
