I also have what I'm sure is a ganglion cyst that popped up overnight on the back of my wrist literally overnight as well, and it is a little uncomfortable. I keyboard all day nearly every day and do everything in my power to stay ergonomic, and have carpal tunnel as well which has stayed at the same level for years now, but am unable to find out if there is a connection with carpal tunnel and ganglion cysts, either. I asked my brother if he would whack it with my giant medical dictionary, but don't know if it would even work because the blob in question is a little on the firm side.
