In reference to your e-mail pertaining to your pain from shingles. I had shingles about 6 years ago and I have constant pain which they call herpetic neuralgia. I use morphine patches that I change every 72 hours, also take pills. I still have pain but I guess it helps some. I tried Neurontin but it doesn't seem to help. I read an article that they have come out with an injection of steroid in the spine in Japan that they say helps for a few years. I'd be willing to try it if they ever get it in the U.S.
