Hi Kathy,many years ago I was invalided out of the Royal Navy with a bone desease of the hip(osteitis).I have had 4 failed hip replacements due to infection and now have a psuedo arthrosis or Girdlestone as it is known. All my tests proved negitive even tho my hip was superating badly.To this day I still hav'nt found out what the infection is altho the hospital is still working on it.Should I ever find out I will surely let you know and perhaps you could do likewise.With all best wishes.Jack
