Does anyone out there have a relative, (or yourself) suffereing from seizures due to a head injury? My husband has had grand mal seizuers and temporal lobe seizures since a head injury three years ago. We have found neurologists in our area to be extremely unhelpful and there seems to be very little information or support for the person who has these type of seizures, which involve memory loss, confusion and side effects from the medication. Shouldn't there be some type of rehabilitation for an injury like this, that would deal with re-learning memory skills, for instance, like there is for re-learning walking and talking after head injuries? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
