Don't give up on acupuncture. Questions such as how long and how frequently did you go, who did the acupuncture, and other issues would help to decide if you gave it a fair chance. Acupuncture is cumulative, meaning each treatment builds on the one before it with better and longer relief.Appropriate diagnosis and point selection is crucial. Was the acupuncturist classicly trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (four years of school after four years of college), were they board certified, or perhaps a chiropractor or medical doctor who took a week-end course?I have seen many good results from acupuncture for Bell's Palsy. Even at this late date, it may still offer real help for that and your FMS.
