I have had repeated bouts of yeast infection which, to me, seem to contribute to a rectal bleeding (fissures the doc told me) problem. The yeast infections don't clear with monistat (or so I thought) and this time I have suffered with this since July. Rectal bleeding occurs with bowel movements. Last week I went to the doc to ask if there could be an association between the two. He thought there might be but didn't have any info on it. He suggested bathing with 1 c vinegar in the water 2 x a week. Surprisingly, the swab came back with no yeast infection. I have occasional itching and I get little splits (cuts) around the area. Anybody else experience anything like this? Anybody know what it is or how I can control it? Thanks for your help. Isn't it wonderful to be a woman!
