I've had fibromyalgia since 1980. The good news is that this disease is not life threatening or degenerative. The bad news is that there is no cure for the pain that migrates from site to site and does not respond one bit to anit-inflammatory medications like tylenol or aspirin. You can research fybromyalgia on the web as there are many informative sites. Some people including me are being helped with anti-depressant therapy, not because we are depressed, but because there is some coorelation between the brain substance, serotonin, and fybromyalgia. Find a doctor who is up to date on this disease and doesn't regard you as a hypochondriac.
