My 9 year old only breathes through her mouth. Her tongue hangs out when she sleeps which is causing her jaw to grow down. Before the orthodontist will start treatment I need to correct her breathing. Turns out she has enlarged adnoids. She is not sick very often but she does have the nasal drip that you talk about. Should she have the surgury to remove the adnoids or should I treat the allergies??
