I just read your very touching description of your fathers illness and the difficulty all of you must be having trying to cope with this. My father also has cancer of the mouth. He had toungue,mouth and throat which responded miraculously to chemo and radiation only to reappear months later in one cheek. He voluntarily has had no surgery, just further chemo and rad which appears to be a failure. He is in a lot of pain and honestly has no will to live right now. He has a feeding tube and a supportive family but he is very unresponsive and most certainly depressed. Does the prozac help? What are the side effects? Prayers to all of you.
