I was diagnosed with sarcoidosis about 5 years ago. My first symptoms were swollen tear glands and severe dry eye. I had several tests to confirm if sarcoid was present, but they were all borderline. Finally, my doctor performed a biopsy of my tear glands and confirmed sarcoid was present. Since that time, sarcoid has moved into my entire sinus cavity, lymph nodes, and trachea. I've been hospitalized twice. This info. is not meant to frighten you. I just want you to know you're not alone. In spite of my situation, I am doing well.
