I spotted very lightly for a week before I saw my doctor. She did an ultrasound and found that there was no heartbeat. If you're worried, see if your doctor will do an ultrasound. You don't have to do nothing. In the book "What to Expect When You're Expecting" they say that most women that bleed in early pregnancy carry to full term. On the other hand I've heard that 40% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage. Usually due to something being wrong with the baby, not the mother. God's blessings!
