My husband was diagnosed with Behcets 4 yrs ago. He also has Chronic Pancreatitas for unknown reasons. I was wondering if anyone else with Behcets has ever had an episode of pancreatitas & if so how many. My husband is on pain med's daily, hospitalized constantly, and is consequently unable to work or lead a normal life. Does this sound like what you are going through. Would love to hear from any & all with this disease. He has tried numerous meds, none which have worked. Has anyone found a particular med that has worked for you? He has been on prednisone for at least 4 yrs. and trying to get off of it now. The prednisone has given him osteoporosis and he is 40. He has broken his ribs 4x & back 2x in the last year due to the extended use of prednisone. I welcome & would appreciate any advise on how to cope with Behcets (physically & mentally).
