Yes! Yes! Yes!There is renal hypertension. I had surgery at the age of 25 and my artery was severed.I immediatly became very thirsty and was on hypertensive drugs at the age of 30. They just found the severed artery to my right kidney is causing the kidney to send out a hormone called "Renin" to induce more blood to go to the kidney. "Renin" causes hypertension. I have suffered for 30 years with this BP and after dozens of doctors they finally found the problem. I am having the kidney removed this Wednesday and my BP should drop immediatly. Good luck.
