Dear Patty, I taught for 35 1/2 years. Children pass lice to each other quite often in schools. Someone said to use olive oil and wrap the hair with plastic wrap. It works better than Rid or Nix. These are very powerful and possibly dangerous medicines to use. Also, please vacuum everything in your house, including your beds, couches, floors, etc. You must wash the sheets and spreads, etc. in boiling water or you will not rid yourself of these pests.
