Polycystic ovary syndrome effects the ovary and hormonal balances in the body. It can be quite painful and many people do not ovulate with it and can develop excess body hair and infertilify. Many people who have it need to see an endocrinologist. Any time a tubal poregnancy occurs, it can damage the tube and later pregnancies can be effected or the damage can prevent further pregnancies. I believe I read a study not long ago that linked polycystic ovary syndrome with an increased incidence of ovarian cancer.
