I also haave spasmodic torticollis which is also called cervical dystonia. I used to work out at the gym and do aerobics. Have not done so in several years. Neck excercises are the only thing that keeps me from getting worse. I get spasms all the time. Tried physical therapy and shots of Botox but became resistent to shots and stopped them. I have also gained weight but am now trying to get back in shape again. Cannot lift weights though puts to much strain on neck. Also have difficulty with situps I have not given up though. I am determined to beat this thing.
