I agree with the previous replies. Second and third opinions can be great. If they all match up, it becomes more convincing. There are blood tests you can request to see if you have a natural tendency towards clots. If you do, they can give you a prescription for Warafin or Coumadin which will thin the blood. Some people stay on this for life. You're smart for getting it settled- for yourself and your kids!
