My sister-in-law had two aneurysms last year in the late fall. She made drastic mistake of going back to work about 4 months after the attack, so her benefits were delayed quite a while. She is unable to manage her finances now and can't perform many of the "routine" chores she used to do. The good news is that she is alive, not smoking or drinking any more, and has attempted to remain calm. She is going to make it. She is learning to simply enyoy life.
