I Don't know if this will help but have you ever heard of irritable bowel syndrome? A friend of mine was diagnosed with this since her early 20's and your symptoms sound very simmilar. The horrible gas pains and then either constipation or diarrea. It couldnt hurt to ask your doctor about it and see if there is a possibility that could be it
