I seem to have increased problems with yeast during pregnancy. During my first pregnancy, it seemed I had yeast in my mouth (or thrush). During this one I have had a vaginal yeast infection for several months. Changing my diet and taking acidopholus seem to help some. Is there anything else I can do? Is it safe to take an over the counter treatment? Is it normal to have increased yeast during pregnancy and is it likely it will go away after the baby is born? Will the infection affect the baby either during the delivery or after? Any help would be appreciated.
