I too had severe cramps when I was your age. There are some simple things you can do to help at the moment. First if you are using tampons quit. Peppermint tea can also help simimarly to the colic. Cammomille tea is also good. A warm(not hot) tub bath can relax you. The main reason for relaxing is that when you are tense this will increase the severity of the cramps. I would also strongly suggest that you see a Gynocologist, After many years of suffering I discovered that I had ovarian cysts which can cause a lot of pain. My daughter also inherited this problem.
