Don't fight it, just learn to enjoy it & set up your life around it. I've tried everything, also, & nothin' works except on a temporary basis. I've "suffered" about the same amount of time as you have & once I gave up on trying to "fix" something that was never MEANT to be fixed, I finally became happy with myself. It means working at night or late afternoons, but the freedom from constantly being tired & miserably by trying to conform to someone else's sleep "norm" is worth it by all means. Don't spend your life being miserable! Go with it & just don't allow people in your life who think of you as lazy, etc., just because you have DSPS. They're the same people who laugh at handicapped people in malls & such.
