i hope that her doctor has put her on a high fiber diet. that will help with her bowel problems and reduce her pain. This disease is painful at best, and often treating the symptoms helps but the person is forgotten. Their are support groups for this disease in most areas. the crohns disease has a large support basis. if her doctor does not know of one in your area, try the local hospital or community bullentin board in your area. it will help to talk with others who have this disorder. suuport is the best gift that you can offer. ruth paxton
