Hi. My husband has also been suffering for an extremely long time with the same symptoms almost every morning. Almost every morning when he gets out of bed he has the dry heaves. He says that his stomach is not upset but then all of a sudden he feels like he is going to vomit. Sometimes, this may happen at night. But, most often in the mornings. He has always had stomach problems, i.e. gas. gurgle sounds when he is lying down, burping, etc. He is not the easiest person to get to go to the doctor. I am extremely worried about him all the time and I cannot figure out what makes him do this almost every morning. I would love to hear from you and what you may have found out.
