My wife has several allergies and must get a shot every week. She used to use different inhalers and nasal sprays in-between shots, but she built up immunities to them quickly. I have hay fever in late summer and use Claritin. If you live near Canada, you can buy it OTC there. It's still expensive, but not as much as in US, plus you get the great CDN exchange rate.
