I hope that by now you have recived lots of replies. Through the National Marfan Foundation you can receive materials for your gym teacher as well as many names of teens w/ Marfans who are looking for penpals. Has anyone else in your family been diagnosed? Since it is usually a hereditary disease, please have yourself and her father evaluated. Not all Marfan patients are recognisable from obvious physical symptoms or stature. I know this from too much experience. I hope that you have a good cardiologist and other Dr's. who are familiar w/ this. It can be an inconvenience, but doesn't have to be e life stopper. Good Luck to you & your daughter.
